Olfactory memory
An afternoon at the cinema
There are cinematic masterpieces that will remain in history. Those in the 1980s, like me, witnessed the first viewings of cult movies such as E.T., Flashdance, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and many other Italian films.
I was eight years old when I first saw The Called Trinity, starring Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, in the parish cinema. In those years children could go to the movies on Sunday afternoons even without their parents. I remember that day stocking up on popcorn and licorice wheels and entering the theater at 3:30 p.m. for the first viewing. I was thunderstruck by those two Italian cowboys who were giving CERTAIN SCREAMS!!!
I liked it so much that I stayed in for the second viewing as well. At 8 p.m. I saw my brother arrive with an expression somewhere between relief and nervousness, I still had a trickle of licorice coming out of my mouth when he took me by the arm to take me home. When I got home there was my mother waiting for me, do you want to know how it turned out? CERTAIN SLAPS!!!
Take your movie is a fragrance you never get tired of. Olfactory notes that are fresh and at the same time sweet and aromatic.
Licorice: a strong scent that renews the air around you, relaxes you, lightens the load of your day, and then makes you smile and pleasantly share a family environment, like an evening on the sofa watching a movie. You open a package of candy, licorice wheels, the lights dim, the movie starts, and immediately the living room becomes a movie theater too.
